Beginning Spinning

Learn how to spin on your spinning wheel! Sheryl will introduce you to this ancient craft with ease! We encourage you to bring your spinning wheel (please make sure it is working properly, no repairs will be done on the day of the class) since all wheels feel different. If you do not have a wheel you can use one of ours ($20.00 fee applies for four lessons, please reserve your wheel in advance, there is a limited supply)

Beginning Sock Knitting

Learn sock knitting with ease! Sheryl will show your how to knit the perfect pair and will even help you write a pattern that will fit you to the tee. Please purchase or bring one ball of sock weight yarn and knitting needles. We also have a good supply of sock yarn and needles you can purchase just before the class.

Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving

Ready, Set, Weave! Diane will get your started weaving on the rigid heddle loom! These easy to use looms are versatile and quick to warp up. You will learn how to warp up your loom, sley the reed, tie on and will weave a purse during this class. If you do not have a rigid heddle loom you can use one of ours ($20.00 fee, please reserve yours early, since there is a limited supply of loaners). Choose from two dates: Saturday January 14th or February 18th  from 9am to 3 pm, one hour lunch. Bring a lunch or visit one of the restaurants near by.

$75.00 fee included class and material fee. Call PWF 503-538-4741 to register and pay for this class.

Things to know about classes....

You must pre-register for all classed at least two week in advance of the starting date. This means making out a check payable to the instructor (or to PWF, see class description). You are not registered for a class until payment is received.

If you need to cancel any of the above classes make sure you do so two weeks prior to class begin. Otherwise all fees are non-refundable. If you register less than two weeks before class begin no refunds will be issued in the event that you cancel your class.

The class fee pays the instructor for their time during the class. Be sure to attend all sessions offered (for multiple day classes) as there are no make-up classes.

We will reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have enough students sign up. If this should happen PWF will issue a refund.
